What is the difference between 'делать' and 'сделать'

I know that делать - несовершенный вид, сделать - совершенный вид. Anyway, I can't understand the real difference between them.
Please help me get it. Maybe you can provide some examples.

Я делаю - I am doing. Я сделаю - I will do
Я делал - I did / I was doing. Я сделал - I have done

делать = to do something (to be in process doing something) 
сделать = to do something and complete it

'делать' - to do something, to be doing something 
'сделать' - to have something done
