What does идите лесом mean?

I mean but for the literal meaning, of course. Is it some cursing?

I'd say it's like "sod off" or "get lost" - technically nothing obscene, but still quite disrespectful unless used in a joking manner between friends.

"Иди лесом" means go away. It sounds like a euphemism for fu** you
