Here are some unwritten rules unique to Russian culture and Slavic culture in general that I can think of:

  • Don’t shake hands with gloves on, this is considered rude. Take the gloves off

  • Only give a bouquet with odd number of flowers. Even number if for funerals.

  • Take your shoes off when you are going into a Russian household

  • Don’t smile to strangers

In public transport, younger men are expected to give their seat to the elderly and the women

Yep, especially the even number of flowers is important - just don't do that
