your favorite Russian movies

Hi everyone, just wanted to share some favorite Russian movies with you!

1.       Итальянец/Italian (2005)
2.       Груз 200/Cargo 200 (2007)
3.       Дурак/Fool (2014) 
 
These are drama or tragedy movies (modern Russian comedies suck imo). Hope you’ll find them interesting.

I love the movies from Andrei Tarkovsky. He was a genius. Also the movie Иди и смотри by Elem Klimov is one of my favorite movies. Thank you for the list.

But there are some good old Russian comedies! Кин-дза-дза for example is very good.

Thank you for the list, looks like I’ve missed a lot of good stuff! I want to suggest Изображая Жертву - truly brilliant and worth watching.

Операция "Ы" и другие приключения Шурика (comedy), Летят журавли (drama), Иди и смотри (war film), Вор (drama), and Стиляги (comedy/musical) – I really recommend these
